Do you know a good style steak marinade asian skirt? On Tuesday, the issue today, the owner of the restaurant STK was on and made what looked like a wonderful Asian-style marinade for grilled skirt steak. I did not write it thinking that I could view it online, but I could not find it. If you've seen, I would love the recipe, or something similar!
Asian Flank Steak
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
1 tablespoon crushed garlic (~ 2 cloves)
1 tablespoon finely chopped ginger
1 / 4 cup chopped green onion
1 / 4 cup ketchup
1 / 4 cup pineapple juice
1 / 4 cup plum sauce
1 / 4 cup soy sauce
1 1 / 2 lb. bibs (or other steak)
Instructions
Tenderize a steak, you can use a commercial tenderizer solution, even if a solution of baking soda also tenderize the meat.
2 Otherwise, you can pound on it with a meat tenderizer.
3 Combine the cilantro, the garlic, ginger, onion, ketchup, pineapple juice, plum sauce and soy sauce.
4 Marinate steaks for at least 3-6 hours, overnight if possible.
5 Grill the steaks, basting with the marinade.
6 Simmer remaining marinade for 5 minutes and serve over steak.
I do not have any specifically for Skirt Steak, Flank Steak, but is similar and none of these pickles should work correctly. The steak does not know and the marinade does not care!

I buy bottled marinades Lawry. They are the best in all the flavors you can imagine.
Man! I looked on this site for about 30 minutes everything was ready and could not find it! Here are a couple of my favorites!
Flank Steak with Ginger -

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 / 8 c. teaspoon minced fresh ginger

In a bowl, combine first six ingredients. Pout half the marinade in a large resealable plastic bag, add steak. Close bag and turn to coat and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight. Cover and refrigerate remaining marinade.
Drain and discard marinade from steak. Gill steak, covered, over medium heat for 5-6 minutes per side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a meat thermometer should read 145 degrees F medium, 160 degrees F well done, 170 degrees F), basting with reserved marinade.
