Baby Food Labels

Baby Food LabelsWhat is the best way to remove labels from jars of baby food?

My company is organizing a Christmas party for about 50 Girl Scouts. I have 2 trades to do with baby food jars. So I have about 100 jars of baby food that I need to remove all of the label STICKEY.
Suggestions?

After soaking the paper!, Use "Goo Gone" to get the tape. I use Goo Gone to remove all my difficult situations. I recently upgraded to the new Goo Gone, which is Goo Gone Xtreme. It removes chewing gum, glue and other adhesives, markers, oil, pen and ink, candle wax, crayon, tar, paint, stain and scratch tile floors, red lips, fat ... almost everything. In addition, it is safe to use on all carpets, wood, shoes, furniture, glass, metal, glass, concrete, vinyl tile and laminate. I used it for years and have never lost anything with it.

If you do not like to be around chemicals, and rubbing alcohol will do, just to rub hard.

Yahooing Happy! ;)

Yes, soaking in warm water will help. Try to run in the dishwasher on the Pots & Pans cycle. Remember to pick up all the pieces of paper on the dishwasher or your mother is choking so many of us ...
If there is still sticky stuff on pots, a product called Goof Off withdraw. However, you will work outside and wear gloves because the fumes are very strong and it will burn the skin if you do not protect your hands.

A good soaking in soapy water (hot if possible ... leave them a few hourse, and then wipe off the labels. Might even be glued to order, and I'll return chekc if you have some really good ideas, because that I want to do something with pots for babies too in the spring.:)

I soak in hot soapy water and peel the labels off and dry. I conclude by putting rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball to remove the remaining glue. Have fun and good luck! :)

I am a craftsman and I used a lot of baby food jars in the craft. What I do is soak them in hot soapy water, with about one cup of bleach. Good Luck .. BJ

If you are looking to label and freeze the jars. then peel the label carefully.

Otherwise, soak in boiling water for some time labels should wipe away. any excess adhesive can be withdrawn by the latter downwards with widping Goo Gone. may take a little elbow grease, but still works for me.
