Baby Food Storage TraysPosted on January 20, 2010. Can you recommend storing baby food jars for freezing? I freeze the food for my baby, but find it very embarrassing to put them in ice cube trays as she will eat about 4 or 5 cubes. I want storage jars that I can complete and put in the freezer instead. Asda has plastic containers that will hold a full meal for the baby, and best of all lids are screwed on so as to make them secure and safe from contamination. They are really cheap and can be used repeatedly. If you're in another country, take a look in your supermarket where cling wrap in foil and etc. is preserved. Should be something there. Tupperware is great, maybe not the cheapest, but they had FORVEVER my grandmother still uses as she bought it 20 years ago! Woolworths do a pack of six cube-shaped tubs for £ 1 and also found some for £ 1 at Tesco. My two dozen of them so I can fill a few dinners with mashed ourselves, and throw them in the freezer so he's never bored of the same food! tanks hold the perfect amount for my son who is 7 th. Try to buy the containers, take away restaurants use. You can buy them at Makro or other wholesalers or I saw them in the end, if you have one near you. They are about £ 5 I think for about 50 and can be used again and again just check if you are putting them in the microwave. Tubbits can be put in the microwave, they can be purchased in most supermarkets, but are a bit more expensive. CommentsThere are no comments.Leave a Comment |
