BreadmakerPosted on February 20, 2010. Breadmaker? Thought about buying a bread machine. Fear that this may end up being a gadget idiot I never use. Anyone have any experience with these items? I do. I use it to mix and knead the dough when I Cinnabon and when I make bread and you just want to mix the ingredients and let the bread .... It works very well ... I have one for Christmas last year. It's really great, you can buy canned bread, and dessert at the grocery store. My favorite is Classic Foyer International Collection: Royal Hawaiian Sweet Bread Mix. I love its texture, it is a bit crumbly, like cornbread, but it is moist and soft. I slice it, toast in toaster butter spread on it, and eat. They sell all types of bread (9Grain, whole wheat, white, just to name a few), and desserts (brownies). The loaves can be done in as little as three hours. You have a several years ago and have used a lot. I learned one thing, but ... if the weather is stormy or tempestuous, you can end up with not much increase. I learned the hard way, and ended the jockeys breadmaker bread called "hockey puck" - namely, round and brown, and only about 3 inches tall! Use recipes that come with the machine before you try them off the 'net or make a cookbook bread machine. The store mixes are good, BTW - white, wheat, Hawaii, sourdough - Follow the instructions for your machine settings for each, but follow the instructions to check how much liquid, etc. Bon Appetit! Yes, my wife just had to have a bread machine, it has been in residence at a channel output space in my kitchen cupboard for at least five years. I do think a foot massage. i gave him a few months ago ... I was excited about it and told myself I would use ... until its never been touched ... but I would also criticize the fact that I do not wear bread "ingredients so I have to go out and buy flour, etc. too much work for me right now ...
