Carolina Preserve

We are traveling from South Carolina to Ohio for Thanksgiving next week and I am an apple pie. What is the best way to preserve the rise? My a cooler that I am able to slip into. Thank you for the tips!

Freeze overnight before leaving. It will be thawed when it will be served.

It keeps well at room temperature for this time ... Besides, it's better when it is chilled (at least in my opinion). I would say that the real problem is it stabilizing for the ride. Make sure there is actually one piece.

You can also buy insulated bags that do wonders stores like Wal-Mart, Canadian Tire, and sell like them.

Just keep it away from direct light (maybe put a lid on it or store it low).
