Cheap Recipes

Cheap RecipesCheap Recipes?

I'm on a tight budget, because my husband and I are both in school. Do you know a recipe cheap? (No seafood please)

Here are some recipes you might want to try EZ. Good luck and enjoy.

COLA chicken (and more variations of recipe)
4 boneless chicken breasts
A cup of ketchup
1 can 12 ounces Cola (Pepsi, Coke, etc.)

Place chicken in a nonstick pan.
Combine ketchup and cola, pour over chicken.
Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat and simmer 45 minutes.
(Turning chicken a few times while cooking ... to prevent from sticking to pan)
Discover, turn up the heat and continue to cook until the sauce
becomes thick and adheres to the chicken.
He turns in the most incredible BBQ sauce. Yummmm!

You can double the recipe and use more pieces of
chicken .... wings ... Ideally ... Add some hot sauce .... presto "Hot Wings"!

I used ribs, just as good.

I tried this recipe with 'meatballs'.... was also
so good ... served over rice.

I found another variation ..... omit the ketchup and add a small jar of salsa (one variety).
I tried to use Salsa (omitting the catsup .... not).
It looks like a recipe with only three "ingredients could not be spoiled .... do not you??
Well ... while I was preparing to fix the "chicken recipe Cola
Salsa with ..... I also tried to conduct a conversation with my
husband ... (Proves just that ... I can not do two things at once ).... mixed Salsa & Ketchup (before I realized that I had to leave the ketchup) and Cola ....... . was even really tasty (to me) ... perhaps a little more sweet than some of you want.

I fixed chicken wings, (using the recipe above)
but ... I added sweet spices (I do not "hot") Buffalo Wings packet ... (The kind you get to cook in the oven )..... I thought it was really good .....( but you / I can not find a "bad" way to fix chicken).

Finally ....!! I fixed the "chicken ...... SALSA" is a good thing, too.

Another idea (brilliant) ..... I thought of trying to replace the ......
catsup with a bottle of Shrimp Cocktail Sauce ... and adding a bag of (pop corn) shrimp .....!
Fixed the shrimp with cocktail sauce ...... huh ... everything that was not
great ... was OK ... probably will not fix it again.

Also tried beef stew cuts ...... that was pretty good ..... Can I see
I make this again.
Served both over rice ..... think the stew would have been equally cut
good over noodles.

Try little cocktail wieners / sausage ... for appetizers.
