Chicken Tetrazzini CasseroleFour Terrific Pasta Recipes

One of my favorite dishes to cook for the family of pasta. It is relatively cheap, easy to do, and can easily serve a handful of people. If you have not had much experience to do something other than spaghetti, then you might very well be next on a potential favorite dish! This article presents some great pasta recipes that the novice cook and Pro can do and enjoy. They are oh so tasty and I hope you enjoy them!

Chicken and Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients
6 chicken breast halves, cubed
1 lb. fettuccine
3 / 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
8 ounces shredded Colby-Monterey Jack cheese
1 / 2 cup sour cream
1 cup half and half
3 cups milk
4 cloves garlic, chopped, divided
6 c. tablespoons butter, divided
1 tsp tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 / 3 cup flour
Salt 1 c. soup
3 / 4 c. tsp white pepper

Directions:
Take 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken, Italian seasoning, and garlic. Cook until the chicken is white throughout. Remove from pan and reserve for later. Bring large pot of water to boil and add the fettuccine. Bake about 10 minutes, then drain. Melt 4 tablespoons butter to skillet and saute 2 tablespoons garlic. Stir in flour, pepper and salt and cook for about 2 minutes. Slowly add milk and half and half, but be sure to stir constantly. When the sauce becomes smooth, add the Parmesan and Colby-Monterey Jack cheese. Stir until all cheese is melted, then add the chicken mixture and sour cream. Mix well and serve on fettuccine.

Angel Hair Pasta Chicken

Ingredients
1 pound angel hair pasta
6 chicken breast halves
1 package of Italian salad dressing mix dry
1 can golden mushroom soup condensed
4 oz cream cheese with chives
Half cup of white wine
1 / 4 cup butter

Directions:
In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat, then add the dressing mixture. Add wine and golden mushroom soup, mix well. Stir in cream cheese. Let the mixture heat thoroughly, but be careful not to boil. Arrange chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the sauce over. Bake at 325 degrees F for about one hour. About half an hour before the chicken is cooked, place a large pot of water to a boil and cook noodles for about 10 minutes. Drain the noodles and chicken cube. Serve chicken on top of noodles and spoon sauce excess.

Tuna Tetrazzini

Ingredients
1 package spaghetti
3 cans of tuna in brine, drained
1 / 4 cup flour
2 cups milk
1 / 4 cup sherry
1 / 4 cup mayonnaise
1 / 4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 v. tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
8 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 tsp tsp salt

Directions:
Bring a large pot of water to boil and add spaghetti. Bake about 10 minutes or until al dente. Drain the noodles. Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium-low heat, then add the onion and saute until the onion becomes soft, then add the tuna and mushrooms. Cook for about 3 or 4 minutes. Remove the tuna mixture from heat and set aside in a large bowl. In a sauce pan, combie flour, milk, mayonnaise, sherry and salt. Mix well and heat until the sauce thickens. Pour the sauce into the bowl with the tuna. Mix well, then add noodles. When the noodles are completely coated with sauce, transfer the mixture into a saucepan.
