Fruit Cage Netting

Fruit Cage NettingIf I have a ball nest hanging in my hamster cage should I put something in it?

I just got the hamster two days ago. shes a drawf Chinese. I'm also a bit concerned about his alcohol consumption. I fear she isn't drinking at all. I receive water from the sink. Is it serious? I change his food every day. What kind of fruit and veges can I give? and if I needed to put something in the nest suspended What? Here is a picture of his cage.

Is it too small for her?? and the nest???

No, the cage looks OK, not small. If you can, I would get her an aquarium, because they are bigger and hamsters and gerbils as better. Sometimes you just need time to adapt to hamsters things such as food and water. Go to the store or breeder where you got to see how it's going to take water as a jug of bottled water, etc.. Then put it in his cage. Over time, it is best to drink the bottle of acacia and you can make this change by putting the water bottle and bowl of water until it is used for bottle water. For now, however, you must also put in some vegetables because it can not get water to those together. Carrots are the most commonly used, but you can also use beans. Do not use celery because it can get stuck in the gorge. Also, remember to remove all the vegetables after 24 hours so they do not go stale. As for the ball, which is for her to sleep, do not put something in it. Put the Aspen bedding in the cage, but no pine or cedar, because it's bad for them. Good luck!

I think it is for him to sit in. .. hmm ... try to keep the water clean and be sure to have a bottle, not a dish. If your water is tap water, try to get a little fresh water. Potatoes, carrots and these ends, just cut a little and put them in a food processor so it is nice and small.

just my type of person lol I have a Chinese hamster dwalf too attached to me that nest looks like a bed per cent put a little litter there to make it do u have lines on the bottle of water as there are some months I never thought my Chinese hamster, so I drank a bottle filled up a row and had'nt checked the next day he drank a lot, but had drunk a few that made me happy as they dont drink much any means. it is allowed to have water in your kitchen sink faucet that's where I get mine. You also do the right thing Wiv change her food every day but only half a spoonful of food per day as a normal hamster ment to have a spoon filled only halfway to its cause, it is more small. We must also remember u dwalf Chinese hamster are very shy and it took me this time almost a year for him actually come to me my email address is warm sexonlegs_01@hotmail.co.uk Incase you want more information or assistance xxx
