Can I mix Gerber rice with kitten formula? I am bottle feeding kittens 3-4 two weeks old. I read that you can begin to get used to solid food at around 4 to 5 weeks of age. Can I put it in Gerber rice formula so little stomach can start to use for solid foods.
I know you can do with the puppies. But not sure with kittens
Yes you can. Start with a little and work up. Once they are ready to lap milk in a bowl make a slurry. I usually begin offering turkey or canned chicken if they eat them as OK. Good luck with them:) I had to bottle feed a couple of litters over the years and until now have not lost! Best wishes.
