This type of system has become very popular recently as a result of the promotion of the popular Atkins Diet Craze. This scheme is very popular because there is no calorie counting involved, and many foods that many people like to eat are allowed on the diet. In addition, the Atkins diet is a high-protein drink , which means that the weight lost during this plan will not result in lost muscle mass, since protein is the main nutrient needed to maintain healthy muscle tone. This scheme essentially eliminates carbohydrates, which are simple sugars or foods that break down into simple sugars. These serve as empty calories in your diet, providing no nutrients yet high in calories.

Although we will not cover the Atkins diet here, we can give you the basics of high-protein diet low in carbohydrates. Let us first identify the carbohydrates. Sugar, including powdered sugar, granulated white sugar, brown sugar, or any other type of sugar you may think, is the main carbohydrate that you need to eliminate. All types of pasta count carbohydrates, which means all the noodles and spaghetti products must be eliminated. Starches of any kind, such as white rice, potatoes and potato chips, must be eliminated. Cereals are mostly carbohydrates and should be avoided entirely during the feeding phase. Because of the low carb craze, there are many options to low carb sodas, milk, ice cream, bread, beer and wine at the supermarket on average. If you do consume these, be sure to do so only occasionally and in moderation, even if it is a typical low-carb. Otherwise, the above foods should be eliminated where they are not entirely typical low-carb. Beware of foods that contain hidden sugars, like bacon, barbecue sauce, ketchup, salad dressing, syrup against cough, and fruit juices. Strange as it sounds, fruits and juices should be eliminated while in the weight loss phase of the scheme because they are almost pure carbohydrates. Anything made with flour must be eliminated during the phase of weight loss, as mentioned earlier, they are rich in carbohydrates.

Now, what can you eat? Well, good news is that you can eat all meat, fish, poultry and seafood, except for meats like bacon and ham cooked in honey, which are rich in sugar. Pass the bread and meat and salad, or meat to your salad. The eggs are very low carb friendly, but be sure to skip the mayo or dressing unless it is mayonnaise or low-carb dressing. Any kind of vegetable is fine, but be sure to realize that in this salad that tomatoes are actually a fruit, and you want to limit your consumption of them, at least during the loss phase weight. Choose brown rice as the replacement of starch, as it is relatively low-carb potatoes, bread or white rice. Cheese is good in limited quantities, since it is a high-protein foods low in carbohydrates. Butter and cream can be used, but must be consumed in limited quantities. A complex carbohydrate that is good is fiber, as it does break down into simple sugars, and helps the body to eliminate. In addition, fiber fills you quickly without adding significant calories, then the feeling of hunger were repulsed successfully.

Finally, make sure you drink at least eight glasses of eight ounces of water per day minimum, plus any other liquid, you can consume. Dehydration often masquerades as hunger and the causes of overeating. Of course, once the exercise is a necessary and vital part of your diet, which we discuss in the next section on exercise.

Once you lose the weight you have set to lose the weight loss phase of your diet is over. Of course, keep in mind that you make lifestyle changes do not go on fad or binge diets. This means that you can not go back to your old eating ha.
