Holy Basil

A friend of mine gave me a bit of holy basil, which she called "the holy basil, and I threw quickly into the ground and I forgot. Today I was looking for recipes basil and ran across some articles about it, how wonderful it is for medicinal purposes. How would you do to prepare? Should I soak some leaves in water to make tea and if so how many leaves per cup of water?
