Kidco Electric Food Mill

Posted on February 27, 2010.
Kidco Electric Food MillWhat device do you use to make your baby food? ?

Right now I'm using a mixer. I planned to buy the electric mill Kidco but I do not want to spend $ 27 if she does the same thing. I know this is not that much, but part of the reason for the baby food was to save a little money.
So what do you use? What have you found that works for you?

Just use your regular blender and you save some money.

I used the mill grinder attachment for my mixer. I also used a small electric chopper, they are like food processors that are much smaller.

If I had to buy something new to make baby food sure I doubt it was something which had other uses as my little electric chopper.

a blender is all you need, I swear it is the only device for making and pureeing baby food. I only used a hand blender for both my son for 2 years now and have had no reason to change. there is no need to throw money on something that will give you the same product at the end of it:)

I received a magic bullet for Christmas and I used it for making my son food ... It was a pain to clean though .. is the same as a blender ... but I even used a potato masher when printing I didn't want to do a lot of cleaning!
enjoy this stage .. they grow up soooo fast!

I used to use a mixer to low, worked perfectly and I was very happy with it ... I will use the same number for my baby 2.

I made all my son food using a blender, then freeze in ice cube trays. These two items were what held me over his food, very fresh and easy.

mixer like this: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url ...
I have one by Braun (both for milkshakes)

I use the magic formula. when you buy it, it has a part where he explains how to make baby food with it. its really nice!

We do not puree. We went straight to soft foods table. So just use the stove or oven to cook food, and then we were ready to go.

Cuisinart ... get one from the pawnbroker CHEAP.

My oven / stove. There is no need for pureed food!
