Kitchenaid Pasta Roller

Posted on January 20, 2010.
Kitchenaid Pasta RollerWhy buy a KitchenAid Pasta Maker / CUP? Pasta maker? The difference?

I have a food grinder KitchenAid. I want to get the plates pasta maker that attach to it. What is the difference between the manufacturer of pasta and pasta roller or cutting? Except the roller / cutter is MUCH more expensive. If you have these, please share your thoughts and experiences. Videos KA site does not work and they do not explain these items. Do I need both --- the manufacturer and the roll or what?

Oh dear, you must join the Forum KA! There are sooo many experienced cooks and bakers who are a joy to answer all your questions. It is a very happy group.

I extrusion plates of pasta to go with the food grinder. If you want to make macaroni is what you get. They are very macaroni Nice. I'm not one to roll, I'm not much of noodles and I can always hand to reduce the amount of noodles my family would use. But I can not hand elbow macaroni shape. LOL

Join the forum KA, you'll be surprised at what wonderful information is already there. ;-)

helllo, we just roll your dough thinner that the cutter roll is one that reduces your pasta into the desired shape, spaghetti, fettucine, etc.
success

If you do a lot of pasta, I recommend the roll as well. But if you do not do so that often the roll is not worth your time.

The roll will just save you time and energy.
