I love pasta, but I'm hoping to find a low fat / low calorie recipes for pasta.

This recipe is so beautiful and you can use cream cheese for free if you need canned diced tomatoes and if you do not fresh, whole wheat pasta instead of white, and I like to use fresh spinach but you first in a pot over medium heat.

Creamy Chicken Pasta with Spinach and Tomato Recipe

2 cups uncooked pasta, penne or ziti better
4 boneless chicken breasts without skin
1 10 3 / 4 oz. can chicken broth
September 1 oz pkg cream cheese (I used the type of light)
January 9 oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, defrosted and drained
1 tsp tea. garlic, minced
1 tsp tea. salt
1 tsp tea. pepper
15 Cherry tomatoes, halved
1 / 2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, optional

In a large saucepan, bring water to boil, then cook pasta according to package directions.

chicken breast into slices about 1 "cubes. In a large skillet, heat half the box of chicken broth and diced chicken, turning pieces with a slotted spatula, 5 to 7 minutes until chicken is no longer pink.

Add cream cheese, spinach, the remaining half can of chicken broth, garlic, salt and pepper. Heat for about 3-5 minutes, until cream cheese is melted. Add halved cherry tomatoes and cook for 2-3 minutes, until tomatoes are tender.

Toss drained pasta with chicken and vegetable mixture. If desired, sprinkle the dish with Parmesan cheese if desired.

Whole Wheat Spaghetti with lemon, basil and salmon
Serves 4
* 1 / 2 lb. whole wheat spaghetti
* 1 clove garlic, minced
* 2 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
* 1 / 2 teaspoon salt, and more for the seasoning
* 1 / 2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, and more for seasoning
* Olive oil 1 tablespoon
* 4 (4 ounces) salmon pieces
* 1 / 4 cup chopped fresh basil
* Three tablespoons of capers
* 1 lemon, zested
* 2 tablespoons lemon juice
* 2 cups fresh baby spinach leaves

Instructions

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook until tender but still firm to the bite, stirring occasionally, about 8-10 minutes. Drain the pasta and transfer to large bowl. Add garlic, extra virgin olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix well.

Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium-high. Season the salmon with salt and pepper to taste. Add fish to skillet and cook until medium rare, about 2 minutes per side, depending on thickness of fish. Remove salmon from pan.

Add basil, capers, lemon zest and lemon juice to the spaghetti mixture and mix well. Set to 4 servings plates or shallow bowls. Pour 1 / 2 cup of spinach in each bowl. Top quarter of the dough. Top each mound of pasta with a piece of salmon. Serve immediately.


Whole Wheat Pasta with Broccolini and Feta
Serves 4
* 1 medium shallot, thinly sliced
Broccolini * 1 group (about 10 ounces), stems cut into 2-inch stems and flowers
* 1 bunch radishes, trimmed mean and very thinly sliced
* 12 oz whole wheat rigatoni
* 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
* 1 / 2 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
* 3 / 4 c. teaspoon kosher salt, and more as needed
* Freshly ground black pepper
* 3 tablespoons olive oil extra virgin
* 7 ounces feta cheese, crumbled

Instructions

Put the shallots in a bowl, cover with cold water. Let soak for about 10 minutes, drain.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and salt generously.
