There is the power hand shakes when one party decides that they are either above or wants to win the battle of the handshake. In this case, the right hand comes with the palm facing down. The hand on the top seems to signify power.
Often, sales people offer their hand with the palm up. This means they go to bid in the ensuing conversation.
In India, it is common to give your right hand and once the hand shake was started, you put your hand on the other hand the left side. This means that the Offeror has submitted two hands shaking. The receiver does not need to answer, but can also respond by using his left hand too.
In the Far East and parts of Asia, it is considered impolite for women to shake the hand of Le Mans. A woman must not shake hands Mans whether it has a sexual interest, and he believes it could be paid back!
Even the length of the handshake is different. In the population of the United Kingdom could shake hands for three or four shakes when it is common in the Middle East to keep their hands gently held together for an extended period even after the original business four semi shakes.
For people in America have learned to shake hands firmly. A few Americans I met using a cracked bone shaking hands is too difficult. This may be acceptable in America, but will certainly be frowned upon in China and even parts of Europe.
Some French can give you a kiss on the cheek as they shake your hand. Very rarely touch the lips of playing well as usual it's a kiss "pretend" and that the side of the face affect yours.
Finally, in some cultures, a person above refuse to shake someone's hand felt beneath them. In this case, if you offer your hand for a handle and it comes just pretend it did not happen and continue to talk!
