What brand of spirulina algae pills should I do if I am in search of protein ????? Vegetarian, require the consumption of protein, I fish, but not often. Doc wants me to spirulina, which marks the most protein??
Um ... Why do you "need" for protein consumption? Does the doctor understand nutrition? Doctors usually only get a few hours of nutrition courses as appropriate so that they operate in the same myths are reinforced by the industries that have the most to lose if people go vegetarian / vegan.
Not enough protein is a great myth. Unless you're basically starving (at which point the protein is only a fraction of the overall problem), you're probably getting enough protein. Almost everything but the proteins have sugars that even some alcohols have small quantities.
The combination of / additional proteins are another myth.
You literally could eat potatoes all day and have more than enough protein. In fact, what the Irish did before the burn and what many in Peru yet (they had several varieties of potatoes more - about 4,998 more varieties - have not been embarrassed by the burn or famine).
The truth is, too much protein can be very difficult on the body and calcium drain because the body must fight against the acidic environment. Among the resulting problems are kidney stones and bone weakness of course.
However, spirulina is a source of pure protein level, but it is generally praised for its other benefits which include antioxidants, B vitamins, minerals and DHA omega-3 fatty acids which are quite important, but can be obtained from other sources too.
If you intend to follow the advice then find the best you can and should be a reputable company with standard doses. It will not be cheap because you really get what you pay, but you do not have a body you discount? And buy a little bottle so you will not lose too much if you decide that this is not for you. You can always buy more. Section I specifies a link to "Spirulina Pacifica" brand, but brands often depend on where you live and what store you look in.
Extract from the article:
====
Spirulina is rich in nutrients, chlorophyll-rich algae dried, available in capsule or powder. Love a product called Spirulina Pacifica, the dry powder of spirulina biological waters off the coast of Kona Hawaii Big Island. I recommend two teaspoons per day added to the water, smoothies or shakes.

If the doctor who is missing from Spirulina as a source of protein for you, I think at least it would at least tell you the name and where to buy it especially wants you.
Most studies I have been watching on Spirulina as a source of protein are quite old and could not find (with just a quick look at using a search engine) who was younger as - or 20. Many things change in this period. I know that they have discovered that spirulina has not been a great source of B12 get active, the article I source being a source for very current information.
So, my proposal - to be in line with the doctor because it sounds like you want to be - get them to tell you the name and where it can be obtained.
I can tell you that the taste is - one that must be acquired. My only thought is that this would not be as bad as pills. :)
