Starting Baby Food

Posted on March 11, 2010.
Starting Baby FoodWhat a good time to start a baby baby food?

My son was 4 months of cereal (spoon) for about two weeks. Her doctor told her 4 Hour mnth place we could start baby food whenever we wanted because it was just fine with cereal and spoon. What is a good rule of thumb for feed grains such --- .--- morning and night --- and baby food for lunch? What bottle with her? I'm just trying to get different opinions on what worked for other parents! Thank you!

I breast fed and my doctor told me to stay away from cereal and bananas for the moment (my baby 4 months). His doctor told him to start a (Veggie even 10 consecutive days) after a fruit (even a 10 consecutive days), then another vegetable (even ten days in a row) and a different fruit (even October 1 consecutive days) after that then he could have cereal and bananas, but he said we made him give all the new food 10 consecutive days to ensure it does not react allergic. And if we do not know what it takes.

I began with vegetables first if u dont it will be difficult for them to eat vegetables I did all the vegetables first, then fruit and see what shes allergic. Now I feed her breakfast cereal and baby food for lunch and dinner at noon I gave him a fruit and vegetable dinner Flag

I d not for breakfast cereals and baby food for lunch and dinner. Introduce a new food a week so you can see what the child likes and allergic reactions to food between meals, bottles and children's wishes

You must feed him whenever he is hungry.

I think you should start with vegetables. because if you start with fruit, you will have a harder time with the vegetables, because they are not as warm and feeding him before bed so he sleeps better at night. that's what I did with my little girl and she slept all night and now 3 years old will eat all the vegetables you give.
