Thai Jasmine Rice

Posted on March 2, 2010.
Thai Jasmine RiceHow to make the Jasmine (Thai) best rice? Yum Yum!?

I like the rice in Thai restaurants, it smells so good! The rice they use in place is the Thai jasmine rice, right? Otherwise, what is it? In that case, why, when I'm at home (as directed on package), it has no smell or taste as good? Am I missing a secret ingredient or two?

Try using a rice cooker. He cooks the rice under pressure. I found this to be the easiest and best ways to cook. My rice cooker is my favorite and most trusted kitchen appliance. And yes, it's rice and jasmine rice that I want to eat.

Just make sure it is really Jasmine rice you got. And be sure not to put any seasoning in doing so. I usually use a rice cooker and it comes out perfect. The rice cooker restaurant use too.

It is a jasmine rice.
2. It is different because you can get the old crop of rice last year. If want the new crop, go to the Thai grocery store and ask them. New crop is sweet and gentle.
3. With rice cooker, you will have no trouble with this (2 cupful of rice, or even 2 cup water).
4. Do not cook the rice in the microwave because it is not pleasant as you cook with rice cooker.
