Thai Salad Dressing

Thai Salad DressingDoes anyone know the dressing on the Thai Pepper in Huntington Beach, CA located on the beach Blvd?

It is a light salad dressing yellow-served with salad in their lunch specials. The workers said that they make their own dressing and it is a mixture of mayonnaise and vinegar, but could not tell me the rest, as they did not want to give their secret recipe. Does anyone know what kind of dressing is now and where I can buy or do?

lol quest question - - in fact, mayonnaise and vinegar, but vinegar than most can with a light touch of olive oil, and yes, I live in HB - Beach Blvd right off, so I know which restaurant you are talking about:)

I wonder what kind of vinegar is used so that I can try to reproduce it.

I `ve eatten too. I do not know what `s said dressing but it is really good. As you said it was a mixture of mayonnaise and vinegar and honey mustard is alittle .... Since they can not provide their top secret recipe maybe someone will give you an idea of proximity ... Try looking in a grocery store international cuisine and perhaps you can locate it on the shelf. It `s something like a hollaise dressing.

The following ingredients would provide a coherence mayonnaisey ... color yellow makes me think either curry powder or Turmeric is added together.


Benihana Salad Dressing

1 / 4 cup chopped onion
Quarter cup of peanut oil
2 v. soup. rice wine vinegar
2 v. soup. water
1 tsp soup. chopped fresh gingerroot
1 tsp soup. chopped celery
1 tsp soup. soy sauce
1 1 / 2 tsp tea. tomato paste
1 1 / 2 tsp tea. sugar
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Dash each salt and pepper

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor bowl of wok with a steel knife; process until almost smooth. Makes six servings. Can be refrigerated up to one week.

Or perhaps a drop of this kind, w / mayo mixed, then put on the salad? Try to get different servers each time and see if you can glean some information from each different reconstitute the puzzle!

Benihana Ginger Sauce

5 ounces chopped onion, rinsed in running water for 15 minutes
2 ounces ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
1 lemon, peeled and chopped, juice squeezed
2 cups soy sauce
1 cup vinegar

Mix all ingredients in a blender and mix well. Stir thoroughly before serving. Ginger Sauce can be stored in a plastic container or stainless steel refrigerator up to one week.
