In the living heart of the world of today Bussler, finding and preparing easy recipes for healthy children can be a struggle! Then when you find there are so many things that can come into them: menu planning, making grocery lists, driving to the bank, shopping, checking in the long line, pay the bill, and driving home is not about preparing the meal and sit down to feast your hard work.

Without missing a beat, the inevitable always seems to happen ... the complaints.

"I do not like that."
"This looks" weird.
"I do not like this color."
"I want pizza!"
"Can I have a cookie instead?"

Nutrition plays a vital role in the development of our children, and we know it. But how easy is it to take some frozen pizza and call it a day! Although tempting as it may seem, it is our responsibility as parents to find healthy recipes for children can be prepared and consumed at the family table.

Here are some healthy recipes for children who have been successful in my own family table. But before getting to them, we will first discuss some tips to help plan healthy recipes for children and ways to make our children happy for them!

1) Make a quick list of foods your kids love, hate, and allergies. In this spirit, it will be easy to locate the recipes you are targeting and on healthy recipes for kids in your family will love.

2) When the children are invested in a project, they are easier to accept. Find healthy recipes for kids that your family can contribute. For example, get your kids involved in the selection of recipes, let them help out shopping and the children help prepare the meal and the table.

3) Select a new vegetable, fruit or food to try each week. Make it a game with your children. They may love it or hate it, but it will teach them to be open to new foods and experiences to the table.

With these tips in mind, here are some healthy recipes for children who have been successful with mine. Give them a try and see whether it could be a meal your family will love!

Healthy Recipes for Children # 1: Oven Fries Carrots

My children love these fries healthy!

Baked Carrot Fries

£ 1 ½. Carrots
1 tsp tea. Sugar
2 T olive oil
½ tsp tea. Salt
2 T fresh rosemary, finely chopped
Pinch pepper

Preheat oven to 425 degrees and line a shallow pan with foil. Peel carrot and cut each point and the end out of everyone. Cut carrots in half crosswise, then cut lengthwise, then cut lengthwise again.
Combine carrot sticks, olive oil, salt, pepper and rosemary and stir until well coated. Put the carrots on the plate as much as possible.
Cook your carrots for about 20 minutes or until carrots are tender. Serve warm or cool them a bit at room temperature.

Healthy Recipes for Children # 2: Chicken Tortilla Soup

It is a family favorite and is easy to Mom and Dad both in the preparation and cleaning!

Chicken Tortilla Soup

½ onion, chopped
½ tsp tea. Garlic, minced
4 c. tea. Cilantro, chopped
1 T Butter
30 oz Chicken Broth
8 oz can tomato sauce
½ package Taco Seasoning
14 oz can stewed tomatoes, Mexican style or plain
4 ½ oz can dice green peppers
1 small can corn, drained
1T Worchestire Sauce
4 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts (these can be frozen)

Put all ingredients in slow cooker and cook on low for 8 hours. Half an hour before serving, remove chicken and shred. Place chicken in the soup and cook the rest of the time (half hour).

Serve with cheese tortilla chips.
