Posted on January 29, 2010.
Ways To Cook SalmonLooking for ways to cook salmon, anyone out there in the Hells Kitchen or Top Chef?

Ok heres what I PPL 2 pieces of salmon steaks abount an inch thick. I would like some imput on how to pan fry or grill. I've never cooked before. Im trying to surprise my friend with the good breakfast. Then you go to PPL and help me here.
Thks

Melt 1 tablespoon butter with a few drops of oil
(If the butter does not burn) in a skillet, cook salmon for four to five
minutes on each side, than add a little lemon juice and cover
2 minutes. Salt and pepper last, pour the liquid over the fish.
Also verrry easy.
Preheat the oven, the fish in a baking dish, drizzle with lemon juice,
cover with sour cream, bake for 5-8 minutes.
To serve, sprinkle with green onions.

w / brush with teriyaki sauce or balsamic vinegar, add S & P. Brush grill or a skillet w / olive oil, then enter the medium-high temp both sides. Do not move w / IT remains disabled until you're ready to turn (the edges will curl a bit, you can look in, but do not move.) Serve W / a dash of fresh lemon or lime and a little melted butter brushed on top (or a knob of butter on top that mellt).

Drizzle with lemon juice, pepper, maybe some thyme and salt. Right next to the skin in the oven for about 5-8 minutes and is done. Make a nice rice pilaf to go with it. everything you cook, the last thing the salmon to cook.

The last time I had the salmon steaks, I realized I did not quite Lemos, so I've marinated in fresh grapefruit juice for about 10 mints and place in oven for about 10 minutes, and it was perfect. I've never used lemon again - Grapefruit juice has been great!
